PERAK buru Safiq , Hadi Yahya , Fadhli Shas

Perak’s manager, Khairul Azwan made a shocking statement today when he stated the team’s intent to make a triple swoop for next season’s assault on the Malaysian Super League, Malaysia FA Cup and Malaysia Cup.
The three players earmarked by the management are national players Safiq Rahim, Abdul Hadi Yahya and Mohd Fadhli Mohd Shas. The players will be offered contracts by Perak FA and the team have pledged to go through the right channels to nab the three players.
“We have been told that we can offer contracts to any players if we adhere to the requirements made by the national football body, FAM”
The team hasn’t contacted the players and their employers yet but Khairul Azwan stated that they will be sending letters to their employers and make their intentions known to the players and their respective teams.

Safiq Rahim and Abdul Hadi Yahaya’s contracts will end this season and three months before their contracts end, they are allowed to discuss their future with any interested clubs.
“We have our conscience, so we will follow the requirements set by FAM and it’s the state association’s responsibility to follow the requirements and respect the players and teams wishes” stated Khairul Azwan
Safiq Rahim, 23, National team skipper currently plies his trade with Selangor. The player who is being eyed by Indonesian clubs will be attending trials with Cardiff City after the Malaysia Cup campaign ends. Yet to pledge himself with Selangor, teams will surely be eyeing his signature and Perak have made their intentions known today.
Abdul Hadi Yahaya, 26, scored 20 goals in the Super League to finish as the tournament’s top goal scorer and helped Terengganu finish 2nd in the Super League. Having played against Liverpool, Arsenal and the World Cup Qualifiers against Singapore, Hadi Yahya’s goalscoring attributes would be a welcome addition to the Perak squad.
20 year old Fadhli Shas who has been the backbone for Harimau Muda A has been impressive in the Super League and he is currently on loan with Slovakian Super Liga side, Fc Vion Zlate Moravce.
Rafiuddin Roddin and Failee Ghazali will also be offered contracts to continue their stint with Perak as their on-loan stint with Perak has been well received by the management and the fans. Failee is the top scorer for Perak in the Malaysia Cup with three goals whereas Rafiuddin has been a vital cog in the attacking set up of the team.
Khairul Azwan also announced that the team is on the search for foreign players after FAM allowed teams to bring in 2 foreign players for next season’s Malaysian Super League.
“We have started the search for foreign players and so far we have contacted players from Indonesia and Brazil in our search for the best 2 foreign lads for our team” said Khairul.
However, the search is ongoing and they will look at talents from other countries to bolster the squad. They are in the search for a striker and a midfielder to bolster the side led by Norizan Bakar.
Perak is the first team from the Malaysian Super League to make such an announcement as Khairul wants to improve the fortunes of the team and bring back the heydays of Perak football.
