Gossip at Old Trafford

The Mail on Sunday believes United and City are battling it out for Robin van Persie, although there is the feeling that the Gunners are making another major effort to keep the Dutchman and persuade him to perform a U-turn over his future. It's hinted the Emirates skipper may prefer a move to Old Trafford.
